English holidays - you can't beat them. I'll just reminisce (sp.?) if I may.

Oh I love Whitby and it has some of the best fish and chip shops in the world. I hope you sampled them.

Happy Easter!

We did - the world famous Magpie. Also enjoyed a delicious meal at the Moon & Sixpence, a newish restaurant on the harbour that had the best mashed potatoes I've ever tasted!

Just dropped in to say, "Wow!" - your blog is featured in the Mail on Sunday. I'm going on to their website to rate it now. Well done. You deserve to be featured.
As for Whitby, I love it. I had a really nice holiday in Whitby once. We stayed in a pub and all the regulars were very friendly and very funny (as in witty, not peculiar!).

One of the best holidys we have had was at Robin Hoods Bay. Used to pop over to Whitby for a bit of sophistication. Great photos.
